CRF110F           Shift Shaft Brace

Protect one of the CRF110’s most vulnerable components with the JTI Billet Shift Shaft Brace. Originally developed in 2019, the JTI brace is designed to support the shift shaft and help prevent it from bending during impacts, crashes, and aggressive riding.

Purpose-Built Shaft Support

CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum, the JTI Shift Shaft Brace features an 18.5mm-wide body and substantial shaft support designed specifically for the CRF110F.

At the heart of the brace is a 16mm-long oil-embedded bronze bushing. The self-lubricating bushing provides smooth shaft support and has a 590 lb dynamic radial load capacity while being approximately 45% harder than aluminum for long-lasting performance.

The result is a robust support system that helps keep the shift shaft properly supported when the shifter takes a hit.

The JTI brace helps prevent the shift shaft from bending by providing additional support directly around the shaft.

The shift shaft itself must be straight and in good operating condition before installation.

Simple Installation

Installation is fast and straightforward.

The brace will require minor trimming of the stock plastic sprocket cover for clearance. For a cleaner installation with no modifications, pair the brace with one of the JTI Billet Sprocket Covers or Case Savers designed to accommodate the brace.

Important: Inspect Your Shift Shaft

The shifter and shift shaft must be in good operating condition, with the shift shaft straight and positioned correctly before installing the brace.

A bent shaft can often be straightened successfully, but replacement may be necessary. To check your shaft, rotate it and watch for any up-and-down or forward-and-back movement. Any visible movement indicates the shaft may be bent and should be addressed before installing the brace.
